Betty Briggs, played by Charlotte Stewart, is the unassuming, loving wife of Major Garland Briggs and mother of Bobby Briggs.

Charlotte Stewart also appeared in the first feature-long movie by David Lynch Eraserhead where she played with another Twin Peaks actor, Jack Nance (Pete Martell).
