It is commonly assumed that the fonts on the credits of Twin Peaks (1990-1991) are: ITC Avant Garde Gothic Demi Condensed.
And the titles of Fire Walk with Me are assumed to be ITC Franklin Gothic Demi Compressed Italic in all caps, scaled to 120% of the standard X-height for the typeface.
On a similar note, the Twin peaks Gazette title uses Rustic, except for one instance from The Secret History of Twin Peaks in which it is Logger.
