Rename Edit

In keeping with keeping articles strictly "in-universe" I think it might make sense to rename this master category to "Individuals." Also a lot of them don't appear on screen or are actual historical figures, so it's a bit of a stretch to call them "characters" along the lines Laura, Cooper, etc. --Pyramidhead (talk) 06:06, November 4, 2017 (UTC)

I've been thinking about the same thing and that might be the best solution. Though I'm not sure of the categories like "Twin Peaks (2017) characters." Maybe retire those ones completely? Special Agent Dale Cooper (talk) 06:11, November 4, 2017 (UTC)
Maybe, but I think those are still useful in their own right. I would get rid of Season 1 and Season 2 ones though. --Pyramidhead (talk) 06:13, November 4, 2017 (UTC)
I suppose we can keep them for now. Agreed on S1/S2, though. There's not really enough of a separation between the first two seasons to really warrant them. Special Agent Dale Cooper (talk) 06:16, November 4, 2017 (UTC)
Going back and forth tbh, would be nice to see how much traffic these categories get. Right now I'm leaning toward retiring all the character categories like you said, it doesn't quite fit with "Individuals" --Pyramidhead (talk) 07:31, November 7, 2017 (UTC)
Yeah, really the only thing making me consider keeping them is the possibility of people using them to browse the Wiki. Wish we could get stats on that. Special Agent Dale Cooper (talk) 20:11, November 8, 2017 (UTC)
I think between Twin Peaks (2017) cast and now Twin Peaks (1990-91) cast the function is fulfilled elsewhere, so I'm okay with deleting 'em if you are! --Pyramidhead (talk) 05:24, November 12, 2017 (UTC)
Nice work! Well then, feel free to go ahead and get rid of them. Special Agent Dale Cooper (talk) 06:57, November 12, 2017 (UTC)
