Since this Wiki focuses on an ongoing fictional franchise, it has a spoiler policy.
Generally, the rule is that any item that is over a year old may not have spoilers marked on the Wiki. This means that the following may have unmarked spoilers:
- All episodes of Twin Peaks
- Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me
- Twin Peaks: The Missing Pieces
- The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer
- The Autobiography of F.B.I. Special Agent Dale Cooper: My Life, My Tapes
- Twin Peaks: An Access Guide to the Town
If the item is under a year old, articles containing spoilers from it will be specified by the appropriate template. This currently only applies to The Secret History of Twin Peaks, which will expire on October 18, 2017.
A small alteration to the year-long marked spoilers rule will apply to the third season of Twin Peaks. All spoilers will be marked until a year after the final episode has aired. So, for example, spoilers for the first four hours will still be marked between May 21 and September 3, 2018.
Unhidden spoilers for Season 3 will not be allowed within 24 hours of the respective episode's airing. For example, unhidden Part 1 spoilers will not be allowed until May 22, 2017 at 10:00 PM ET and unhidden Part 2 spoilers will not be allowed until May 22, 2017 at 11:00 PM ET.
Although Part 3 and Part 4 will be available for viewing on the Showtime app, unhidden spoilers pertaining these episodes will not be allowed until 24 hours after they first air on television. This is to be courteous to those that do not have access to the app. Therefore, unhidden Part 3 spoilers will not be allowed until May 29, 2017 at 10:00 PM ET and unhidden Part 4 spoilers will not be allowed until May 29, 2017 at 11:00 PM ET.
To hide spoilers, use the following:

Information from leaks are not allowed.
